Realme 3 Pro Review: A Gamer's Delight with a Glow-in-the-Dark Design!
Friends, in today's date, if we talk about smartphones, one thing that often excites gamers is good performance. Now, maybe that’s why the Realme 3 Pro has been designed for an optimal gaming experience. In fact, this phone even glows in the dark! But what’s the science behind it? Let’s find out.
Okay, guys, here’s the full story from the box. Inside, we have some pretty unique things. The back case has a frosted style, which looks quite premium. Along with it, we get an 80W charger, a USB cable, a SIM tool, and some reading materials. And of course, the phone itself in the Nebula Glow color variant. While multiple colors are available, this one is special because it glows in the dark with a unique pattern.
Take a closer look!
Design & Build
Talking about the overall feel, this phone is quite slim and comfortable to hold due to its curved design. The sides are also curved, adding to the in-hand comfort.
- Right side: Power button with volume rockers.
- Top: IR blaster (which is quite interesting).
- Left side: Clean look.
- Bottom: SIM tray, primary microphone, USB-C port, and speaker grill.
Now, looking at the back, the triple-camera setup gives an illusion from a distance—kind of like seeing two boiled eggs, as we used to joke as kids! However, technically, only one camera is actually useful.
Camera
- Main camera: 50MP with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).
- Other sensors: LED flash and auxiliary lenses (which don’t play a major role).
- Front camera: 16MP selfie shooter.
Here are some sample shots taken with this phone—you can see the camera quality for yourself. While the main sensor performs well, an ultrawide lens would have been a great addition.
Display
This phone features a quad-curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner for seamless unlocking.
Performance
Now, let’s talk about performance. The Realme 3 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, built on a 4nm architecture. It comes with 8GB or 12GB RAM options and 128GB or 256GB storage.
For gamers, this phone is packed with features:
- 90FPS support in BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India).
- GT Boost Mode for extra smooth gameplay.
- 6000mm² vapor chamber for effective heat dissipation.
Battery & Charging
The 6000mAh battery supports 80W fast charging, ensuring long-lasting usage without frequent recharging.
Software & UI
The phone comes pre-installed with various apps, some of which can be removed. However, the presence of bloatware is something to consider. It also includes AI-powered features like AI Eraser and Circle to Search.
Final Thoughts
This phone leaves me with mixed feelings. While the screen, performance, and battery are all excellent, the lack of an ultra-wide camera and excessive bloatware could be a downside. However, if you are a gaming enthusiast looking for a powerful phone with a great cooling system, this could be a solid choice.
And of course, the glow-in-the-dark design is a unique touch!
